About Rose Park Roasters

We are an artisan coffee roaster and baker with several locations throughout Long Beach. We are hyper focused on quality and make almost everything we serve in-house.

Rose Park Roasters is a coffee shop in Long Beach, California. It is listed at 455 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802, which places it among the local businesses of Long Beach that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as coffee roastery, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Rose Park Roasters at (562) 683-1818; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, roseparkroasters.com.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 256 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Long Beach.

Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Long Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is a lovely little cafe with a charming outdoor seating area that is protected from the street by a gate. The cappuccino was well made and I also enjoyed a really delicious slice of banana bread. It tasted like it had been soaked in honey. Service was friendly.

Great spot for morning coffee. My iced coffee was well balanced and it was great that they had oat milk. Really good pastries as well, the lemon lavender scone was flaky and buttery, and the jalapeΓ±o cheddar scone had a nice little punch. Highly recommend.

Came here while attending a conference at the Westin, looking for interesting coffee… and they certainly have that here. They had two different coffees on drip and I chose one from Uganda - I think my first time I’ve had a coffee from there. It was quite good. They have coffees from like 12 different countries they roast themselves at another location in bags for purchase. Really nice spaces indoors and out. Definitely recommend.

Now this place is a vibe. I always look for nice coffee shops to post up and do some work while Traveling. The place is clean and the setup is appropriate for chillaxing. The menu is perfect not many items but all of the right ones. The music selection was AMAZING! Being from the east coast i immediately started feeling the place with the playlist. THUMBS zip for whomever makes this because this was EVERYTHING. It’s perfect for coffee shop and has some soul in it. Highly recommend to stop in. Great vibes all the way.
